TF Roof issues

Hi All,



My 2002 160 MGTF has had a new roof at somepoint in its life prior to being mine (I have a nice label saying Genuine MG Part).



Issue is I have just realised that the material is not connected in any way between the frame and the window at the the point it meets the driver and passenger windows near my shoulders. Its very taught and held in place right at the bottom, but I can stick my hand between the window and roof!



Not only does this cause excess wind noise, but is not secure.



I am presuming this should be connected, but am unable to see how or where..



Can one of you kind people point me in the right direction of how to fix?
