white smoke on cold start + slow coolant loss
Hi all, was de icing the car this morning and noticed the exhaust fumes were particularly white. Once I'd done the 6 miles to work with the engine warm you couldn't see anything, so I'm not sure I can blame the cold atmosphere.
Also I noticed my coolant low again, this is the second time in a few months. All seemed to stem from my mechanic replacing some coolant pipes, one popped off on the motorway and I overheated etc. Since then the coolant level never seems constant.
The car has done 145k, no egr, sdis, and I try to use injector cleaner regularly.
Thoughts on what this may Indicate? Coolant being burnt in the manifold?
