Custom style number plate

I was wondering about a custom reg plate ror my Gloria.

I mean a custom plate style, not the reg number.



There are a lot of site around that can customize your plate, more or less cheap, but then... I read something about "road legal number plate".



I've searched but I couldn't find any definitive guide on what is allowed or not.



Any help is appreciated.
