engine stalls

hi folks i have a problem with my car, the car runs fine but when i stop i have to give it a bit more gas before i pull away otherwise it will stall. the car has had a new clutch fitted recently and it changes gears nice and smooth. on tick over it dosent stutter or miss fire. so im a bit stumped on what this problem could be.

oh sorry its a 1.6 k series 1997

it drives fine but soon as i stop and want to pull away i have to increase the revs abit and slowly lift the clutch pedal up otherwise it will stall
