K series 1.4 Vs 1.8

I've been given a complete K series 1.4 motor. It's got a blown HG - that's why! But I can fix that okay. Head looks good...



What I want to know is is this: The head is common between the st'd 1.4, 1.6 & 1.8 right? Is the crank the same to?



I would like to strip the block and make it into a 1.8! and I'm hoping it's just a case of replacing liners, pistons/rings - and maybe con rods too. Is that right?
