Alarm lost its mind?

Hi,

New here, tried to post re this already but it disappeared! 2004 diesel MG ZR, has had numerous alarm issues since new and 2 BCU's fitted. Last one due to driver's window and rear fogs not working. Vehicle has been left a couple of months and the battery totally discharged. Connected a new battery with jump leads so I could open the boot to get my tools - alarm just went off, no response to key fob! Fitted new battery, no response to key fob, alarm sounding, so used EKA and managed to silence alarm and start engine and with engine running key fob opened boot. Stopped engine, no response to key fob, alarm sounding, stops after about 30 seconds for about 10 seconds and then it's going again - a repetitive cycle! Pulled alarm fuse and left it in disgust! Tried again following day, no response to key fob, EKA seems not to work! Any ideas anyone? Last BCU cost almost £2000 at main dealer, total rip off, car is not worth that expenditure again. Help!
