I know this topic has been beaten to death already but I would like to get a few things done to my TF within the next couple of weeks at a reasonable price (!!). Unfortunately the forum's favorite mechanics are all very busy and fully booked for the next couple of months. Is there any place within reasonable distance from London (say 100 miles radius, preferably less) that knows TFs well, works weekends, has done similar work (shock absorbers, exhausts, speakers etc) and is reasonably priced, that I could get in touch with? I contacted some garages within M25 or nearby and the quotes made me weep. Some places were asking north of £1,000 for a day's worth of labor.
