Glass screen hood question

Just bought a mgfmania hood with a glass screen.



I have one simple question.



Does it matter which way round the plug for the screen fits??



The lead for it from the car has a lock tab that fits one way in the hardtop lead but there isn't one on the hood lead meaning it can go in both ways.
