New to the forum.



In the market for a gorgeous MG TF (can't believe the value for money).

Seriously... British, gorgeous and fix-able. Perfect mid life crisis motor.



Looking for a long term commitment :-)



Have done loads of research, read the (excellent buying guide(s)) and looked at a few (dodgy) examples.



I think I want....



160BHP VVH engine.

11 spoke, 16 inch wheels.

AP 4 pot brakes

Service history if poss, but seem to be plenty of places to get these beauties spannered.

HG/Water pump/piping is poss (again, lots of places who fix this)

Maybe an '05 car with glass in the hood.

Not fussed re hardtop coz my baby won't be going out in the rain!!



I figure what ever I buy I'll be heading for Spax shocks and a grunty

exhaust. Maybe compromise on wheels/brakes and fit later.



Budget £3500 (max).



So, 2 reasons for post....
