Long trip: my MGF is ready?

Hi guys,



I'm planning a trip from Cambridge to Rome, but reading about this dreaded mg-rust-eating stuff I'm start to thinking IF my MGF is viable to such a trip.



Of course the thing that worry me worst are subframe and structural condition.



How can I proceed to checkit and, in case, fix it?

Keep in mind that it's not something I can do myself.

It's a no-no for a long list of reasons.
