Mgztt 18. Can tap with reconditioned lifters. Help!!!!!

Hi. I have reconditioned a set of hydraulic lifters, second hand, and fitted them to my engine. The reason for the change was a tempremental lifter causing an intermittent tick, normally on tickover after a couple of minutes. The tick is now constant with the second set of lifters. The car has been flushed and treated to three oil changes in around 2500 miles. Wynns lifter additive has also been added with no joy. Is there a savior out there that can assist with this problem.

There car runs like a dream and is pretty nippy for the 120.
