polishing wiper scratch on windscreen???? help/ideas

Eyup everyone one of the family mg zrs has failed its MOT on the windscreen due to where the wiper has scratched the windscreen in the past just wondering if anyone nos how to polish it out so we don't have to get a brand new windscreen for it so any help or ideas would be great
