unlocking issues

Hi all!



Looking for some advice recently my rover 45 1.4 facelift has decided it doesnt like its key fob...



I have to press the button a few times before it will lock or unlock regardless of range, ive changed the battery in the fob which hasnt made any change...



does any one know why this may be occuring has only started happening recently
