Are all Rover 25/ZR rear subframes the same?

Changing some track control arms today on my 1.4 Rover 25 and when tightening up the drivers side bush eye bolt, the welds holding the captive nut in the subframe gave way. Must of been fairly corroded. To cut a rather frustratingly annoying story short, I need to swap to another subframe.....



My question is, I have located a replacement off a VVC 160. Will I be able to bolt my R65 gear linkage to it as I know the PG1 linkage locates straight onto the gearbox, unlike the mechanism on an R65?
