White smoke on start up only?

Since fitting the SDIs last December I have noticed the car emits white smoke just after starting up, is this to be concerned about?



After start up I only get a puff of black smoke when accelerating hard.



Pierburgh MAF gives correct 20g/s readout on cold start. All leak off pipes have been replaced. Boost turned up to about 19psi. Green cotton Jetex flat air filter.



Top intercooler hose now looks slightly oily on the intercooler end despite tightening up the jubilee clip, I assume that with SDIs fitted the decline of the top hose will be faster (eg rotting from the inside)? Do the silicone ones offer better performance?
