Alarm Problem

HI All

My car is a 2004 TF, Pektron Alarm System (Round Fob). I had it in a bodyshop doing some rust and spray work (it was there for nearly two weeks). On picking it up yesterday, all seemed fine, started ok, door lock worked. Got home and parked, then I noticed the alarm LED was not illuminated, and when I locked the car it remained off (not flashing), So I assume it is not on. (no, I did not open door to test).

Contacting the body shop they said the battery went flat, so they had to charge it.

Any ideas on a fix? or what to look at?
