Anyone used a DIY Dent repair kit?

Just wondered as I have a small dent about the size of a 20p coin that some kind fellow left for me in the rear passenger quarter panel near the fuel cap - looks like they pranged a trolley into it and did a runner.

I don't think it is possible (could be wrong) to easily get to the back of the dent to push or roll it out as it is a few inches to the left of the cap, a bit lower down. I had a quick look and the fuel pipe seems to be in the way....

Anyway, I spotted a glue dent pulling kit in my local TK Maxx (of all places.....) for a tenner and wondered if it would work. The paint itself has not been damaged - maybe a very slight scuff to the clearcoat but not through - and it's a relatively shallow dent. The kit I've spotted is this one:

Anyone had success or experience of using these type of 'home brew' kits for dent removal or any recommendations to get shut of what is practically the only blemish on my paintwork......it's been there a few weeks now and it's doing my head in every time I look at it, and if I can avoid lashing out ridiculous body shop prices for such, I'd be tempted to give it a whirl......
