My car MGZR had been off the road for 2 years as due to unemployment and cost of repairs I just could not afford things.
Anyway, last week got all the following done:
Replaced Radiator
Replaced Fuel Filter
Replaced Spark Plugs
Replaced Oil and Filter
MOT
Replaced Brake Shoes
As I had all the parts I got it all done for £170 which I think was not too bad for labour costs but was it too much?
I was also surprised it passed the MOT first time, no advisory or anything, was sure it would have failed on the level of the head lights
I was told that the brake discs need replaced as slighly corroroded, yes they were all rusty as sat for so long but it passed MOT and guy just said it needed done but not major.
