Horn not working 05 MG ZS TD

Got an MOT due in about a month and realized that the horn on my 2005 MG ZS TD is not working. When i press the buttons i can hear the relay clicking but the horn doesn't sound or if it does its very a weak and short beep

Had a look at the horn and it looks like it has been replaced before it has a red plastic cover so i assume thats not the standard horn that comes from the factory?

Also when the alarm goes there is no sound at all from the car.

Has anyone got any idea what it could be? Need to get this sorted asap. Also if anyone can recommend a decent replacement horn that doesnt cost a lot it would be much appreciated.
