Making the 75 clutch easier!

I'm still new car hunting but having to have an automatic is some what limiting.
I can still drive some manual cars,I can drive my daughters Fiat500 with no problems. I sat in my brother-in-laws Freelander and his clutch felt OK.
So if I was to look at swapping out the 75's clutch master cylinder for something completely different,would I want a bigger diameter piston or smaller?????
Is bigger harder because it moves more and smaller easier because it has further to travel.??????

Then there is moving the "link" point closer to the pivot point to make it easier but need more travel. mmmmmmm!
