So after much thrashing around doing stuff on the car after it failed an MOT on multiple items back in May (I think I was sorely treated there...) I just drepaired the broken boot loom (I was going to say this was an a**e of a job, but compared to the mechanical stuff it was merely tedious) and I noticed that the foam around the rear hood frame where it seals to the body/rubber seal is disintegrating.

Some has fallen off already and some has stuck to the seating groove instead of the hood frame.

Is this a replaceable item? A look on Rimmers seems to suggest not. It's a peculiar foam, doesn't seem to recover its shape very fast.
