A dim view at nights greatly improved for little outlay.

The plastic Headlight lens used on many cars often deteriorate over the years and miles. In fact those used on some Rover 75s and MG ZTs are particularly prone to it and lens surfaces become clouded badly. Noticeably affecting Headlamp performance at night.

I started a thread about this and how I resurrected those aged dim view lens using tools and polishing compound already in my garage. I got acceptable results initially simply using muscle power or as me old Granny used to say... Elbow Grease ... However, the old hand and arm muscles arn't what they used to be. Needed more power ... Here's the link for the thread:~

Improving Plastic Headlamp lens.

Got a 3" Polishing Disc attachment off ebay for my old Black and Decker electric drill with Velco polishing pads transformed the final end product.

So this :~

Soon became this :~

Now I no longer take a dim view of things when driving at night... with these babies ...

Let's block ads! (Why?)
