CDC/alarm problem.

Got a 1998 mpi with an annoying alarm fault.

When I lock it with the fob or key it locks and sets the alarm but when I unlock it with either the key or fob it blows the 15amp fuse under the bonnet but still has the immobiliser active.

I've changed the drivers door lock and it worked for a bit but then popped the fuse again.

I've checked the wiring in the door and it looks good.

Any ideas??
