I fitted a new Delco Remy alternator to my 620ti the other week as the old one's bearings were shot and the regulator had no output on the charge indicator wire. Now if I don't use the car for a couple of days the battery won't turn the engine over so obviously I have a current drain.
I suspect this isn't a coincidence as it never occurred until I changed the alternator, which after fitting I checked charge and thought 13.3v a bit on the low side. Could this be a faulty diode in the alternator or are there any other issues on a Ti that could cause this?
