Hi Folks,

The wiring for the radiator fan on my ZS is shorting out somewhere ( new fuse pops each time installed and I've wired the fan directly to the battery and the motor runs.) ( I did notice some smoke coming from under the bonnet a while ago and since then no radiator fan and the fuse pops each time ignition is turned on, hence it being a short)

I'd like to wire it to a switch on the dash so I can turn the fan on whenever I want but have no idea how to go about it and any youtube videos I've seen have been pants home made ones. All the garages I've seen have said they wont touch it as its an electrical issue as opposed to mechanical and even if I could get someone to look at it no doubt it would cost a fortune to diagnose where the bare wires are shorting.

Any help, screenshots on what to do etc would be great.
