Normal for no EML light with MAF unplugged?

Normal for no EML light with MAF unplugged?

Unplugged the MAF to see if it was the reason for the car hesitating and not wanting to accelerate and random and frequent intervals.

But, with it unplugged I didn't get any lights on the dash.

Is this normal?
