Hi all,

My 2005 Rover 45 has the factory reversing sensor but this has developed a fault. When I put the car in reverse I no longer get the short beep followed by the sensors increasingly beeping as i near an obstruction. I now just get a much longer initial beep and the sensors do not warn of approaching obstructions.

I have tried replacing the control unit with a second hand item but this is exactly the same. Is it one of the sensors has failed and the unit is warning me of this or could it be something else?
