Drivers side door

The drivers side door would not unlock 2 times out of 5 tries then 3 times. When the door opened I took the door card off give the lock a good oiling worked every time put it back together would not open.

Managed to get a second hand lock mechanism off ebay now OK.

Cannot see anything wrong with old lock but solonoid must be sticking.

Door card came off easy, unhook inside door handle cable, the lever from the outside door handle is clipped to the lock mech with a plastic clip then undo three screws to remove lock, unplug cable. Reassemble in reverse order. Total time 20 minutes.
