FREE 420 Si, 1997, No MOT. Ruislip, Mddx.

Greetings.

I have a '97 420 Si which is suffering from the 'brake pedal sinking under pressure' issue which I see has been recently discussed on this board. Once again, a new master cylinder didn't fix it.

It was time for a replacement anyway, so I just SORNed it when the MOT came round and haven't investigated further. It's very poor cosmetically (faded and patchy paintwork, headlining coming loose etc.), but sound and very good mechanically, bar the above issue - goes handles and stops very well. It's done just under 94,000.

I could get a few quid scrap value for it, but it would be a shame to go that route if its life could in some form be prolonged, either fixed or for parts. There're alloys and two nearly new tyres on it for a start. I ran it for 14 years and it's been a very good servant, so owes me nothing.

If anyone on here can make genuine use of it and can collect it from Ruislip, Middlesex you're most welcome. It would, of course, have to be transported.
