So close to running, except for stale fuel.
Hi all.
My f has been basically off the road for three years due to clutch issues and then a stuck oil filter. However, I have finally finished everything I think I need to do. But, it won't start. It thinks about it, but just doesn't spark. I am assuming the fuel has gone stale.

I have looked at other fuel draining posts, but have a few questions. If I try to remove the fuel pump I am having problems getting the breather pipe off. Any tips? Can I just disconnect the line into the fuel filter and connect a tube to a containter? What about using the green or red pipes on top of the fuel tank? No idea there, just maybe it might be easier.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. I feel like I am close to having my car on the road before summer ends.
Thanks
James
