MG-Rover Mobile Mechanics

Just a short note to give a good news story and give credit where it is due ...



As some may know Dave from MG Rover Mobile Mechanics transplanted a 20k engine and 30k gearbox into my MPi MGF (mine went bang!) it was a bit of a pig of a job considering I have one of the oldest cars on the road - number 29 off the production line!



Well after some wonderful driving one of my hoses started to split, and THANKFULLY my self-made and installed low coolant alarm warned me I was losing coolant as I hurtled down the M40. I pulled over to services within a mile with engine still at normal temp.



Dave not only dropped what he was doing to come down, but attempted repair there - but my hose was just too far gone (it split at the clip) so he transported me back to his place and sorted me a replacement pipe, refill and bleed of the coolant - there and then ... all sorted - I drove the car home!



I am eternally grateful to the great job he's done - he and his team are most knowledgable about our cars and I thoroughly recommend them to anyone on here
