To buy or not to buy...
Got a dilemma!
Bought a 45 derv saloon a few months back - it's in great nick, tuned etc, great car, but I'm not really feeling the saloon thing.
I've been after my mate's ZR for ages but he wouldn't sell - but now he's looking to. Mk2, black, derv, low mileage, 3 door, sailed through MOT, absolute minter in every way.
Thing is, I'll lose money on the 45 - spent 900 on it, then MOT'd it which cost me £250 all told, then stuck two new front tyres on it, £40 sorting the exhaust, £80 tax etc... and by the looks of it, I'll be lucky to get 900 for it if I flog it. The ZR would cost me 1500 (it really is worth it).
So do I be sensible, keep the 45 knowing it's a good car and I've got money buried in it, OR do I sell it at a loss of potentially a few hundred quid, and get the ZR... To be fair I'd keep the ZR for years... and I can get about £300 back from my old 25 (selling a few bits then scrapping the rest)
What would you do? Keep the current one or get the ZR? Spose you can't put a price on being happy with what you're driving!
