L E D number plate lights

Hiya, I'm trying to change my capless glass number plate lights with white. Led's

But they don't seem to work, I've turned them so it's not a connection issue, I know the bulbs work as I've tested them in my sidelights.

Is there a reason they won't come on????

Original are glass, do only glass ones work as led's are plastic.

It's giving me a headache switching and changing bulbs to test them.

Do I need to put in glass bright white bulbs as I hate the yellow colour of the normal lights.

I've managed to change all bulbs to white but the capless no plate ones are just not working???
