Rover 75 fuel pump problem
Hi guys sorry i dont know if this is posted in the right section,
And apologies if this has been discussed previously but after searching for quite a while i couldnt find any info relating to my problem.....
I have got two problems...
I have just purchased a rover 75 and got it home, it runs perfect, but have noticed both fuel pumps stay on continuously when the key is turned to second click but engine is not started. Could anyone point me in the right direction of what could be wrong?
The fuel pumps are not hard wired and no problems with wiring.
Also i noticed if the car is left for around 24 hours the battery is drained to the extent the starter wont turn.
I have checked out the drain plug underneath the ecu and that is clear and ecu looks to have not been wet.
The glow plugs take a while to heat up so i dont think the relay near the ecu is sticking on, or would this not prove the relay is fine??
Any help on these two faults would be really appreciated.
