Rover Family
Hi
The home mechanic has been stirred into action again :).
During my student days back in the late 80's I had a Maxi 1750HLS car that I stripped the engine down and rebuilt it before taking it around the UK during the summer of 1990. The car was a rust bucket but the engine ran sweet as a nut and apart from a siezed front brake caliper on our Highland leg of the tour the car ran great for the summer. :)
My daughter has recently re-introduced the family to Rover cars with the purchase of a Rover 25 1.4L and I'm already dusting off the toolbox and socket sets in the garage.
I'm looking to share our experiences with this Rover 25, now known as "Babs". Don't blame me for the name :)
Cheers
