Zr160 Le Mans green paint issue

Hi all, recently I purchased a 2003 zr160 in Le Mans green thought I'd give her a nice clean, polish and wax while polishing I noticed a bit of the green paint transferring to the cloth so my question is would this be a single stage paint or has the clear coat completely failed/disappeared can't seem to find any information about this any information greatly appreciated cheers
