Speedometer fitting question ZR

I bought a few bits from a fella scrapping a 105 ZR. One thing I had been wanting for my 105 R25 was the MG white speedometer bits instead of the black Rover one that is on.

Anyway, he gave me the entire casing. I am wondering if i can even fit that due to the programming / mileage difference there may be??

Should I just take it apart and take the white MG background out and place into my Rover enclosure?
