ZT 1.8 timing.

It would appear I lost timing when trying to remove the crank pulley bolt. The belt was still in place, but I had the cams prematurely locked. I think my assistant didn't quite realise the importance of keeping the brakes pressed and the tensioner turned and slipped back quickly a couple of times. Now the cam markings and crank pulley marking ( going by the 'safe' mark of the back cover) wont line up.

Is it just a case of setting the crank to its correct timing mark so the pistons are half down the bore ('safe') and then turning the cams, belt removed, until they are at the right timing, or is it a bit more involved than that ?

Thanks in advanced peeps, I have seen T Cut say timing is a doddle on these K series so I'm hoping I'm still in luck, if I can undo the crank pulley bolt, gosh that thing is in tight !
