2.0l cdti cutting out after 10 sec's

A few months ago i had the usual in tank pump problem.I bought a new pump but never got around to fitting it i just kept the tank half full.Recently the car started cutting out even though the tank was full.The under bonnet pump sounded a bit noisy so i checked the flow into the diesel pump filter.it was spluttering and obviously faulty.With help from the forum i finally took the plunge and changed both pumps.The one in the tank was a bit fidelly but not too bad.I then checked the diesel flow coming out of the diesel filter and it was gushing out in a smooth stream.After turning it over for a while it started and ticked over perfectly for 10 sec's then switched off.Again i started it it starts first time ticks over for 10 sec's then cuts out.The car always starts first time but even if i let it tick over or rev it up it will still cut out after the same length of time.It appears that the ecu is shutting it down.there appears to be plenty of power there because it will drive(for 10 sec's)then stop.I have re-checked the diesel flow out of the diesel filter and it's gushing out.Can anyone help with this problem please.Thanks for any advice?suggestions.
