Fob not opening doors Rover 45

Hi. I pressed the lock button on the 3 button oval fob by accident while sitting in the car with the ignition on and possibly the engine running. Now the fob will not lock the doors. The unlock button works and I see the red immobiliser led flash a number of times before staying off. Would this issue be familiar to anyone please?
