MGF Starting problems

Hi everyone, Can anyone help me please.

I have got a 1996 MGF which has been sitting in a garage for 11 years without being started.

It was put into the garage after a death in the family and was not bothered about until now.

I have replaced the fuel filter.. The engine turns over but it looks like the fuel is not getting into the system.

I have checked fuel pump and that is ok, Could this be the imobaliser? if so how do I check to see if this is what is causing the problem?
