Advice on replacement battery please!!

It had to happen....had the car about a week, go to the supermarket and come back to an F that won't start. An hour and one RAC man later, we have lift off....he tells me the battery is goosed and offers me one for £120 (which I of course decline kindly!).



Anyway, I have a nice new battery sat on my SORN'd Escort 55 (1800 non-turbo) Diesel van which is a Bosch Silver Plus S5 004 which is the same as in this link - actually, think that's where I got it from in the first place:

My question, to the knowledgeable, is that would I be able to use this on my 1.6 MGF without any issues? - from what I can glean, they look the same size, same type (075) but my Silver Plus has higher ratings....



Would I be okay to use this battery?
