Glow-plugs vs Injectors

Hi all,



Engine: Diesel.


  • Very hot engine: 20+ turns does not start

  • Hot (normal temp): +/- 10 turns to start

  • Cold engine: 2 or 3 turns to start




1. Replaced sensor with new part and no change to above.

2. Members of this forum suggested it can only be a leaking injector.

3. Garage suggests testing glow-plugs.



Could this be a case of faulty glow-plugs, or is this without doubt faulty injectors?
