need windsreen surround (A / B uprights )

Hi

Anyone going to scrappy in next week or so ? Not many 600' in Devon.

I need RH and LH windscreen surrounds in reasonable condition (part no. DCB100870 and DCB100820) at £20 for the 2 'tops' ; including postage..

(as not worth spending any more)



Background :



Large stone chip/crack in passenger area (not a MOT failure) however crack is spreading.. I pay £75; excess for replacement.

Guy who came out said, I would get new surround (uprights) as split and I'll come back whenever (he was unable to get any direct himself)



I then had a look around ebay, checked Rimmers (£99.44 each)

I need to ring Insurance co. however I'll eat my hat if they cough up for £200 for surrounds..

I've not read the small print, if it exists on policy, in what actually defines a 'windscreen' ?



I'll post a couple of photos, however they appear to be in 2 parts anyway (although 1 of mine is quite curved away at top)

I did post on a couple of 'scrappy' I need sites, however only 1 reply at £140 for 2 ; used including carriage. (lol I thought)



Otherwise he will have to do his best and silicon seal it (as I did some years back).
