Replacing Headlight Connector Cable

Afternoon all.



It has been a long while since I have been on here and am glad to see the website is still going strong.



I was wondering if anyone on here might have any advice as to how easy it would be to replace the headlight connector cable. I went to replace my bulb this morning but found out that it wasn't the bulb that had failed, but the plastic surround to the spade terminal had disintegrated!!!



I am hopefully that it is an easy fix but the two wires seem to run a long way back into the engine bay!



Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
