1engine+1unusualcar= ??

Right ok bit of a weird one, I have come by a remarkably solid and tidy MG B, altho the engine is seized (hence how it found it way to me, i seem to attract rejects -if you saw my ex girlfriend you would understand-). I have also got a spare L-series from a R400. (you can probably guess where this is going), has anyone ever fitted an L series engine in an MGB, failing that anytbody got any ideas how easy this would be and and ideas about gearboxes. I am aware this might induce certain hostile feels :rocker: but i just want an mgb that i can use day to day and will take a high mileage and still have a bit of poke. any advice would be very much appreciated :)
