CAT D Write off, implications?

Hi,

My car was lightly damaged in the passenger door a few days ago, and as zs 180s aren't worth much anymore the insurance want to write it off cat D. If I do this to get the car back and on the road, what problems will it cause?



Is it difficult to get insurance, does the insurance go up?



Any advice gratefully received!
