Coolant temperature sensor

I have just replaced the engine coolant temperature sensor on the ZR105 , to help with a cold start problem . I found a MEK000030 on ebay , which was listed as the one for my 2005 model but when I removed the old one I found it to be a BMW 1433 076 . Can anyone confirm these two are compatible animals ?

The MEK one seems to be working fine :)
