Timing Belt Change

Hi Guys,



Just purchased my first MG ZR, its a 2003 1.4, the car is very good condition and i believe it is anthracite grey (I am willing to be corrected on this). There is some rust just starting to show on the bottom of the drivers door but other than that the car is in very good condition (taking out the age old issue of the drivers seat bolster splitting its fabric LOL)



Now here is my question? I purchased the car as a non runner, as it keeps losing all of its water, upon getting it home, i established after filling up the expansion tank that as quick as I fill it it runs out of somewhere near the water pump!



So my plan is this, buy a new Water Pump and fit it and i believe you do the timing belt at the same time, so does anyone know if you pin the crank like you do on other cars when changing the belt etc?
