Glow Plugs (Photo)

I'm a complete novice and never replaced anything on the engine before. The four plugs I've highlighted are the glow plugs arn't they? And I'm guessing number 2 in my photo is the one that's meant to be a bugger to get out. I have a tin of Plusgas will a spanner be all that I need to slowly unscrew them and put the new ones in?
